This will ensure the Foundation's sustained ability to provide benefits for students of the CLK Schools. Projects of the CLK Foundation --Five (5) scholarships given to outstanding seniors in the amount of $1,000 each; --Students in the Elementary School will receive Spanish/English dictionaries in the amount of $1,000; --Students in the Elementary School received $2,282 to purchase materials to enhance special education sensory equipment for the classrooms; --Elementary students received $936 for local history tours; --The Middle School received $1,094 to purchase graphing calculators for students; --The Middle School received $2,170 to purchase Mindstorms Education Set for LEGO Robots; --The High School Computer-Aided Design Department received $5,900 from the Foundation for CNC Software - MasterCam; --The Public/School Library received $500 to buy reading materials and books for GUYS to Read program; --The Foundation designated $6,359 to purchase laptop computers/document cameras for the CLK Schools to be used for students. |
