CLK Foundation

Public Schools of Calumet, Laurium and Keweenaw Foundation

What is the CLK Foundation?

Your foundation is a charitable, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support students of the CLK school system by funding programs aimed at providing an extra edge in today's competitive world.  The Foundation encourages alumni, area residents and friends to help provide special benefits to our students.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of citizens from the district and alumni.  The Board has the responsibility to ensure the proper allocation of your gift for the maximum benefit of the students.

A Commitment to our Future

You can impact the educational experience of our next generation . . . contribute to the enhancement of our fine school system . . . and lend a helping hand to the long-term process of student education.

In the past, your donations have allowed us to grant many outstanding faculty requests that directly impact a wide range of students within our school system.  Additionally, scholarships have been awarded to deserving graduates.

Your continuing contributions, both large and small, enable the foundation to foster the district's educational efforts.  Once again, we are asking for your support.

Is my gift important?
We highly value each and every donation, large and small!  And it is truly the cumulative effect of many donations that enable us to continue the improvements to our school system.

The board is committed to establishing an endowment of at least $1 million.  This will ensure the Foundation's sustained ability to provide benefits for students of the CLK Schools.  In addition to your gift, please consider including the CLK Foundation in your estate planning.

Your gift to the Foundation may qualify for a tax deduction on your federal tax return.
