CONGRATULATIONS FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
The FOML (Friends of the Michigan Libraries) has announced that the Calumet Public Library has been selected as the 2011 Outstanding Friends of the Library (Class I-III Library) recipient. In the near future at a presenation, the Library will receive a plaque and a check for $400. Congratulations on a job well done!

Great Michigan Read
Calumet Library is proud to be taking part in the Michigan Humanities Council's Great Michgan Read. With a statewide focus on a single book -- Arc of Justice: A saga of race, civil rights and murder in the Jazz Age by Kevin Boyle.
Great Start Regional Care Resource Center
Great Start Regional Care Resource Center/ 4C/UP is providing materials to the Calumet Library to better serve childcare providers, child educators, parents and the general public. The library was provided with books, games, puzzles and other items that will be available for loan soon.
