Wed., October 29th--6:30-8:00 p.m. -- Uzbekistan Assigment with Tom Dumble
Travel to Uzbekistan with Tom Dumble as he recounts his time there in 2012, teaching about greenhouse building and drip irrigation through USAID. His talk will feature a video with a short history of Uzbekistan, his assignment, and his ordeal with the Uzbek Army.

Jennifer Szubielak invites one and all to try your hand at spinning -- introducing the craft in the most basic way by using a drip spindle. Come to this hands-on workshop where she will have many spindles to try and plenty of fibers to spin!
