Washington Middle School
--Where wonders never cease.
Welcome to the 7th grade for the 2011-2012 school year at Washington Middle School. The teachers are eager to build our teams for a new year. You must realize, however, that you are the building blocks that will create opportunities for success. A positive attitude towards the middle school experience will help build stepping stones for the future. It is the family's responsibility to choose the path that will lead toward a great year.
Parents, we invite you to become actively involved in your child's education this year. We welcome parent communications-whether by phone calls, email, notes in the student's planner, or parent/teacher/student conferences. Conferences may be scheduled during the 7th grade teachers' common prep time at 8:05 am and 2:40 pm daily. Please feel free to call 337-0311 ext. 3113 to arrange a conference or a visit.
The 7th grade team also has their weekly plans on their website. Please check it out at www.clkschools.org (choose the Washington option, then 7th grade, then click the link) to see what your child is doing, or what they may have missed during an absence.
