Welcome to the Washington Middle School Web Site.  This site contains important information about our school, staff, events, and also important information about our policies and procedures. Please take some time to review our Family Handbook and our grade level websites. If you haven't already done so, I invite parents to sign up for Famly Access which will allow you to see your child's daily assignments, grades, lunch bill etc. all on-line. If you would like access please contact the Middle School office as soon as possible and we will provide you a user name and password.

The Washington Middle School houses all students in grades 6, 7, and 8.  We believe in true middle level educational practices, where students are provided a wide variety of  learning opportunities and experiences, in the smallest learning environment possible. It is our goal to provide the best educational experience in a safe, nurturing environment that is conducive to adolescent learners. Through teaming, advisory classes and an extensive encore program we feel the
best opportunities are in Calumet.

As each month rolls along I will do my best to make sure our website is up to date and provides the latest information about the school.  October means our 6th grade students have just completed their Camp Nesbit experience and we are about to begin assessing students with the MEAP test.  The testing is spread out over 3 weeks and begins Ocober 13th.  Make sure your child is well rested and ready to go.
