Good luck to the volleyball teams as they head to Houghton this afternoon!
Good luck to the cross country team as they travel to Westwood today!
There will be a brief meeting in the study hall after school today for students going on the Spring Break trip to Europe. At the meeting, you will get info on the first fundraiser. If you cannot attend, please stop by Mrs. Peters’ office before the meeting.
Auditions for the Senior Class Play will be held on Tuesday, October 10th from 4-7pm in the Elementary Music Room. The play will be a double feature of Frosty the Snowman followed by a Charlie Brown Christmas. Sign up for an audition slot or to be on stage crew in the 2nd-floor office. Audition materials will be provided. Talk to Mr. Riutta if you have any questions.
Happy homecoming week! Yesterday's homecoming results are in - congratulations to the juniors on taking first place with 81% participation, followed closely by the sophomores with 80%, then freshman with 75% and seniors bringing up the rear with a lowly 55%. Today's dress up day is yooper day - class counts will be done this hour.
Penny Wars continue through Thursday - bring your change to the second floor office. Homecoming buttons are on sale in either office and during lunches! You will not be counted for spirit day on Friday, if you do not have a button.
Homecoming float building continues tonight at the Gipp from 6-9.
Tomorrow's Dress Up Day is Soccer Moms and BBQ Dads! Don't forget your minivans and aprons!
Tomorrow is also the Powderpuff Football game between the junior and senior girls. There will also be tug-of-war at half time for all grades to participate in to earn spirit points.
