Congratulations to all the volleyball teams on their victories over Westwood!
In football last night the jv team lost to Gladstone. Good luck to the varsity team as they host Gladstone this evening. Don’t forget the Homecoming Parade is on for tonight! Come out and march with your classmates! Line up is at 5:30 - parade starts at 6!
The 23-24 Science Olympiad season is just about ready to start! In the Science Olympiad program you can experience teamwork, learning and fun in the STEM sciences that can really give you some insight on a career you might want to explore for the future,this may be a direction you want to take your life. Many past Science Olympians at CHS and WMS have done just that while having fun doing it! Come and check us out for an exciting new competition season. A short organizational meeting kicks off the season on Wednesday,October 18th at 3:30 in Mr.Asialas room 306 in the WMS.
Fortune Lake Counselors are invited to attend the Awards Ceremony next Friday, October 20th at 11:00 in the middle school - please stop by the second floor office if you do NOT want to attend.
There will be a student senate meeting next Wednesday after school in Mrs. Willmert’s room.
Fit Fact Friday: Physical activity doesn't need to require a skill or have expensive equipment. For example, walking doesn't require any skills or equipment! And, it is one of the best forms of physical activity that can be done anywhere. Try to walk this weekend with family or friends.
