Congratulations to the volleyball teams on their victories over Houghton!
The 23-24 Science Olympiad season is just about ready to start! In the Science Olympiad program you can experience teamwork, learning and fun in the STEM sciences that can really give you some insight on a career you might want to explore for the future,this may be a direction you want to take your life. Many past Science Olympians at CHS and WMS have done just that while having fun doing it! Come and check us out for an exciting new competition season. A short organizational meeting kicks off the season on Wednesday,October 18th at 3:30 in Mr.Asialas room 306 in the WMS.
Fortune Lake Counselors are invited to attend the Awards Ceremony on Friday, October 20th at 11:00 in the middle school - please stop by the second floor office if you do NOT want to attend.
There will be a student senate meeting Wednesday after school in Mrs. Willmert’s room.
The Drama Club will begin setting up for the annual haunted house at the George Gipp Arena today from 4-7. All students are welcome to help build and participate.
There will be a SADD Chapter meeting Wednesday after school in the art room.
There will be an Anime/Comic Arts Club meeting Thursday after school at Keweenaw Coffee Works.
There will not be detention or attendance recovery opportunities on Thursday or Friday of this week. As a reminder, there is detention after school today in room 105 and before school tomorrow at 7:30. Please plan accordingly.
