SATURDAY SCHOOL will be available for any students needing make-up time. Saturday School will run on October 28 and November 4 from 8:00 - Noon in the public library. Any students having more than 5 excused absences in a class need to do make-up time in order to not receive a grade reduction. Stop in the downstairs office if you need help figuring out if you need make-up time or not.
The CHS Drama club will be hosting their annual haunted house at the George Gipp Arena today and tomorrow from 5-9pm, and Halloween from 5-8pm. Admission is $5. Come on down if you're brave enough.
Bowling team tryouts and meeting will be held at Miller's Thursday, November 9th at 5:00 p.m.
Students trying out must have a sports physical and consent on file in the athletic office. Stop in the downstairs office to sign up for bowling.


The annual Calumet High School Poetry Out Loud Competition will be on Dec. 6th, 2023. This phenomenal competition is open to all high school students with our school winner traveling to Lansing to compete at the State Level, along with other prizes. Please see Mrs. Antilla for contest rules and to sign up.


Attendance Recovery Opportunities:
Attendance recovery/detention has additional opportunities during the final week of Term 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30-4:30 and each day from 7:30 to 8:00 am. Detention and attendance recovery are held with Mrs. Ruhman in room 105.
One additional reminder, there are attendance recovery hours available during Saturday School this week and next. November 4th is the final opportunity to complete hours and avoid grade penalties.


Are you interested in being an organ and tissue donor? If so there are posters out in the halls with QR codes that can register you! If you have any questions or need help signing up there will be a table outside the lunchroom today and next week.


This weekend is your final chance this year to visit the haunted & alien invaded town of MeadowEvil at the L'Anse Meadowbrook Arena Friday & Saturday. 7-8 Family Friendly, 8-11 Scarey! You Don't want to miss it!


The homecoming float clean-up crew pizza party has been moved to 2nd lunch (12-12:30) today, in the physics classroom.
