Good Thing to Share: Mr. Torola would like to say that the freshmen class is really pretty great. He had them memorize a poem and stand up in front to recite the poem and they did a great job.
Congratulations to the girls cross country team on taking 3rd place at the Houghton Invite
Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team on their victory over Iron Mountain - the jv and freshmen teams lost. Good luck to the Varsity team as they travel to the Ashwaubenon Invite tomorrow!
Good luck to the varsity football team as they host Westwood this evening!
Band members tonight for the football game we will be dressing up according to the fan section which is bikers vs surfers. If you do not have the attire please contact Heidi Oja by email or in person and she will help you to figure it out.
Any juniors or seniors interested in attending the MTU College Fair Wednesday, September 14th please sign up in the 2nd floor office
Anyone interested in going to University of Michigan there will be a representative here for you to meet with on Wednesday Sept 14th at 2:00 in Mr. Reuters office sign up in the 2nd floor office
Quiz Bowl Practice begins Tuesday, September 13 at 7:35 AM in Mr. Torola's room 201. Come one, come all. We have titles to defend.
There will be a National Honor Society meeting Tuesday, September 13 after school in Mrs. Bonacorsi's room. All members are required to attend.

Students who go between the buildings throughout the day need to remain in the secure zone. This includes going to the middle school and the weight room, students should cross the mezzanine and go through the Commons. CHS students who need to buzz in should use the glass doors behind the library.
