Good Things: Last week conflict lit students were paired up and interviewed each other and then had to introduce the person that they interviewed to the class. Mrs. Ruhman said, “I cannot tell you how impressive they all were - these juniors and seniors ALL did it and took it seriously. Some even added some personalization so it wasn't so sterile ... like humor, facial expressions, etc. No mocking, no jokes that were inappropriate, nothing. It was super cool! I learned so much about them ... even students I thought I already knew a lot about!
Congratulations to the varsity and jv volleyball teams on their victories over Hancock yesterday, the freshman team lost.

Did you know that SADD stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions? Our CHS SADD Chapter is all about raising awareness about important issues teens face. Our first meeting is tomorrow, Thursday right after school in the art room. Everyone is welcome! We will be voting on Club officers, Homecoming King and Queen candidates, and student senate candidates too.

Do you have school spirit? Do you want more school spirit? Join the pep club and show that spirit! We will have our organizational meeting at 7:40am on Thursday, in room 316. We need officers and Homecoming king and queen candidates. We have to start planning for Homecoming as well. If you would like to be in pep club this year and can't make the meeting, see Mrs. La Cross.

Happy birthday to Xander and Taylor!
