Good Thing: After Tuesday's volleyball match against Houghton, varsity volleyball players went through the stands--still in their jerseys--and picked up all the trash that needed to be thrown away. They are awesome on and off the court!
Good luck to the volleyball teams as they take on Gwinn this afternoon!
Congratulations to the Junior girls on annihilating the Senior girls in last night's Powderpuff match-up. Also big congrats goes out to the Junior coaching staff for leading their team to victory.
Although they suffered a humiliating defeat, the seniors were able to redeem themselves by coming out on top of the Tug-of-War Contest! The Sophomores took second, the freshmen third, and the juniors fourth.
Seniors took first place in the dress up day again by a landslide, with a total of 75% participation. The Freshmen jumped out of last place into second with 49%, followed by sophomores with 48% and juniors falling to fourth place with 42%. Today is Adam Sandler Throwback day - students who are excused this hour to get ready for homecoming still need to stop by your third hour class to get counted. Tomorrow is Blue, Gray and Button Day!
Coronation starts at 10:45 - we will dismiss over the PA system.
After you get your blood pumping at Friday night's game, consider signing up to donate it Monday at the NHS-sponsored blood drive! You must be at least 17, or 16 with a signed permission slip. Students who donate five times will receive a red cord to wear during graduation. Every blood donation can save up to three lives! Sign up in the upstairs office.
Happy birthday to Conner!
