Congratulations to the JROTC cadets who competed at the Upper Midwest JROTC challenge in St. Paul, MN this weekend. The event was a multi service skills competition involving 12 schools in the areas of Drill, Rifle Marksmanship, Quiz Bowl, PT, Color Guard and Knockout drill. A special congrats to the Rifle team that finished 2nd overall and to Heidi Oja and Melody Woods for earning medals for the knockout drill!
Congratulations to the jv hockey team on their victory over Plymouth on Friday, the team lost to Detroit Catholic on Saturday. The varsity team lost to East Grand Rapids and Trenton over the weekend.
Congratulations to the following band members on their division 1 ratings at this weekend Solo and Ensemble: Jonah Goldner, Meliina Kesti, Trista Berryman, Abe Perala, & Melody Woods. Congratulations to Heidi Oja and Nora Harmala on their division 2 rating!
The CHS Student Senate invites you to attend the Snowcoming Semiformal Dance on Friday, February 17th from 8-11 p.m. at the Elk's Lodge ballroom. The cost is $5 and students may pay and sign up in the 2nd floor office.
The elementary school is looking for high school students to help tutor elementary students. If this sounds like something you might like to do, stop into the second-floor office and sign-up by the end of next week.
There will be a brief Forensics team meeting today after school. We will be discussing our Valentine's Day fundraiser. There is still time to join the team - see Mrs. La Cross.
There will be a Student Senate meeting after school on Wednesday to finalize Snowcoming week plans.
Sign-up for the Snowcoming junior boys vs. senior boys volleyball match is now in the office. The game will take place during our Snowcoming assembly next Thursday! Junior and Senior girls who would like to coach, please sign-up as well.
Mrs. Ruhman's Flex Group will not meet in the library tomorrow. Please meet Mrs. Ruhman in the study hall for attendance. Also, check your email for an update from Mrs. Ruhman.
